Jackie's Hen Party

I know this may be hard to believe, but there is life outside of motorsport (at least for us girls).  And Saturday evening was no exception.  Jackie was having her Hen Night down at Rubyz in Bournemouth, and what a great venue for a girls night out.  Its a Cabaret bar and restaurant that provides good quality meals, reasonable priced drinks and an excellent caberet led by a drag queen. 

We started our evening in the Bakers Arms just down the road from Rubyz and then went onto the restaurant.  After a few drinks the entire place was buzzing.  Needless to say we were not the only Hen Party at the venue, with two other girls also celebrating their forthcoming marriages, and despite Lady James' best efforts to put them off the idea, all still seemed intent on going through with the weddings by the time we left.  There were some very brave lads there as well, out for one of the two birthday celebrations that were going on at the same time. 

The music was great, although most of the other parties appeared to be too young to remember many of the songs sung and played.  As you can see below - we had no trouble getting into the swing of things.  Oh and in case you are wondering, Jackie is the one wearing the horns!
